An enraged Midtown restaurant customer went ballistic on customers and workers speaking Spanish on Tuesday, threatening to call Immigration and Customs Enforcement to have them “kicked out of my country,” a viral video shows.[1]

The nearly minute-long clip picks up with the unidentified man railing, “Every person I listen to — he spoke [Spanish], he spoke it, she’s speaking it — it’s America!”

“My guess is they’re not documented, so my next call is to ICE to have each one of them kicked out of my country!” he seethed at a hapless worker. “If they have the balls to come here and live off of my money — I pay for their welfare, I pay for their ability to be here — the least they can do is speak English.

“If you intend on running a place in Midtown Manhattan, the staff should be speaking English, not Spanish!”

The freakout happened in the Fresh Kitchen on Madison Avenue near East 39th Street around noon, according to Edward Suazo, whose wife shot the video as she and a friend became a target of the man’s wrath.

Suazo said the two women were ordering lunch, and speaking Spanish with a worker helping them, when the man butted in.

“Honey, I’m calling ICE,” the man said as he whipped out his own phone and lunged closer to the camera.

The man finally resorted to telling the woman, “Maybe you shouldn’t eat that sandwich today,” as he storms off toward the door. “Take a break from the food.”

“Maybe you should get hit by a car, you piece of s—t!” she fired back.
