CONCORD, N.H.- From Merrimack to Raymond to Wolfeboro, most of the whopping 18 candidates running for New Hampshire’s 1st District took to the streets to march in annual Fourth of July parades, reaching out to voters as the clock counts down towards the state’s early September primary.

The race for one of the most high-profile swing congressional districts in the country is starting to draw national attention, thanks to the large number of candidates—one of whom enjoys a famous last name and claims that the candidate who’s far and away the campaign cash leader recently moved to the area.
