Allie Beth Stuckey and CRTV are facing criticism Tuesday over a satirical interview with rising Democratic Socialist star Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez[1].
Ms. Stuckey and CRTV released a parody interview with the Democratic nominee from the Bronx Monday night. The nearly 2½-minute video strings together clips from Ms. Ocasio-Cortez[2]‘s viral interview[3] with Margret Hoover on PBS’ “Firing Line.”
The video cuts back and forth between the footage from PBS and separately recorded video of Ms. Stuckey. Ms. Ocasio-Cortez[4]’s answers from “Firing Line” were rearranged to match questions and comments posed by Ms. Stuckey.
